About Peptide Source Guide: Method and Disclosure

Quick answer: Peptide Source Guide is published by an editorial team that reads primary sources, dates every statement, and reports what companies say about themselves as their own claims. We have one partner, Whoosh Wellness, and we may earn a commission when you use our links to it. We have no contact channel, so corrections are made by updating a page and its updated date.

Who publishes this site

Peptide Source Guide is written and maintained by an editorial team. We do not publish individual names or credentials, and no page here is signed by a clinician. Nothing on the site should be read as coming from a doctor, pharmacist or lawyer. Pages are general information, and the medical disclaimer explains the limits.

Why the site exists

People who search for the best place to buy peptides online in usa find a mix of clinics, pharmacies, "research" websites and social sellers, and the pages ranking for that question rarely explain that these sources sit under very different rules. We built this guide to lay those differences out in plain English: who dispenses the product, whether a prescription is involved, what FDA has said about it, and what a reader can check without trusting the seller.

How we work

  • Primary sources first. We prefer FDA pages, Federal Register notices, product labels, statutes and published studies over news summaries or seller blogs.
  • Read dates. Every status statement carries the date we read the source, and where the source shows its own "current as of" date we give that too. Sources change, so an old date is a reason to check again.
  • Conflicts. When two sources disagree, we say so and show both. When we could not confirm something, we write "we could not confirm" rather than choosing the more convenient answer.
  • "As stated by." This phrase marks a company's description of itself. It means we read the claim on the company's own pages on a given date. It does not mean we tested the claim, used the service or verified it independently.

How we define "best"

We do not name a winner among sellers. Instead we use five checkable criteria: a licensed prescriber reviews you; a state-licensed US pharmacy dispenses it; the product's FDA status is stated plainly; no pressure pricing; and no "research use only" or "not for human consumption" label on a product meant for people. The full reasoning, including which parts follow FDA's published signs and which are our own selection, is on how to choose a peptide company.

The Whoosh Wellness partnership

Whoosh Wellness is the only company we partner with. It offers an online, prescription-based route for a limited set of products. Some links on this site are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you use them. The details are on the affiliate disclosure page.

Here is how that relationship does and does not shape our writing:

  • We report what Whoosh says about itself, marked "as stated by Whoosh" with a read date. Where its own pages disagree, we say so in the Whoosh Wellness review.
  • Whoosh does not pay for a favorable page, does not review our text before it is published, and does not control our conclusions.
  • Our income comes from commissions on links. That is an incentive to be aware of, and it is the reason we hold ourselves to the five criteria and to dated sources.
  • On pages about products Whoosh does not offer, we say so and do not place its button.

Why we do not name research-vial sellers

We do not name, link to or rank sellers of products labeled for "research use only." FDA has said in warning letters that such labels do not change what a product is intended for, and a list of names would read as a shopping guide for products that have no approved status. Explaining the risk and how to recognize the pattern serves readers better than pointing at specific sellers.

Corrections and contact

This site has no email address, phone number or form, and we do not collect messages, so we cannot promise to reply to anyone. When we find an error, or a source changes, we fix the page and change its updated date. If a page looks out of date to you, the dates in its sources list show when we last read each one, and the primary source is always linked so you can check it yourself.
